Yeah Shopping!!

Okay I added a new section to the sideline over there to the right of the screen.  I was waiting to make sure I was approved before adding it but now I'm officially an affiliate of Cupcake Provocateur and Shabby Apple.  Both are nods to my vintage love and depending on where you live may feed your gourmet cupcake habit.  Cupcake Provocateur has some of most adorable aprons you ever will see I swear.  A few years ago I went looking for cute ones or cute patterns to make my own and let's just say I'm glad they exist because the last thing I sewed was a pillow and a stuffed ornament for the Christmas tree--I was like 8 just so we're clear.  Good thing for me I didn't need to reinvest in a sewing machine and patterns cause I seriously have no patience for that yet.  I'm working on it though.  Anyhoo, I'm going to share three of my favorite aprons that are almost too cute to mess up but they need to be in your life if you love vintage styled aprons.

The first is from the Little Susie Homewrecker set.  I adore them even though this one is no longer available.  The next two are from the Cindy Apron group.  Seeing the photos just now and being an affiliate for the next store really means I need to get my butt in shape.  Shabby Apple came across my radar about a year ago.  Great vintage inspired clothing from designers all over the place but as I hate my actual measurements and their size charts are based on those, I kinda need to slim down before I go on a shopping spree.  I'll say I hate wearing dresses and usually that's true but I love the cut on vintage dresses.  Everything is so delightfully feminine and yet wonderfully strong.  I will be happily shopping soon enough.  Gotta break out that stupid Wii Fit and get back to it. Hopefully in six months the photos will look different.  Okay enough blabbering.  Enjoy the photos and let me know if you love the shopping too.

  1. Very cute post! I love to give aprons as gifts at bridal showers...feminine and fun to wear in and out of the kitchen!

  2. I agree, I love them and it's my one handy housewifey gear that's always around.
